If you are to be successful in building your self esteem to the highest level possible, there are 3 key elements you should focus on transforming during this process.</p>
<p>The first key element in building high self esteem is your mind. I believe that our mind is the most powerful of all the elements that requires change for successfully building self esteem. You must look at what you think about yourself and encourage positive thoughts by changing your self talk or using affirmations.</p>
<p>The second key element that we should focus on changing is our emotions. You must learn to accept your emotions, for they are what they are. You should allow yourself to express your emotions as long as it’s done in a way that doesn’t hurt others. It is also very important that you learn to control your emotions so they don’t run your entire life, and stop creating negative emotions such as worry, guilt or shame.</p>
<p>The third key element essential to building self esteem is your body. You must learn to love, cherish and take of your body, just the way it is, flaws and all. Here is a very effective affirmation for you to use daily: “I totally and unconditionally love myself just the way I am.” Pay attention for any negative feedback that comes to your mind when you repeat this affirmation. That is usually the thing that you may be unconsciously holding against yourself. Keep repeating that affirmation daily as you stand in front of the mirror. If you stick to it, there will come a time when no more negative thoughts about yourself comes to mind and you radiate with self love and self respect.</p>
